Why
Why do we live our lives? Some say that we are
looking for the meaning of life and that is what makes us continue on. Others
say that we don't know why we live on but we just simply do hoping that
something good or bad will come of it. I have wondered about this question
since I can remember. I think that the reason we live our lives is because we
don't know any better. Some of us actually have that security that their life
is worth something and that it is worth living while others continue to wonder
why they are here but what if the reason you were here is because you didn't
know any other way to be. What if the people that think they have it all
figured out and that they understand why they are here on this earth is
actually just an illusion. Why do we ponder such things? Why does our curiosity
seam to always get the best of us? I really don't have any answers for anyone
or anything. I really do not even know why I am typing this. I am sure someone
will read this and think that there is some deep underlying meaning but in the
end there isn't. Everything doesn't have to have a meaning. Everything doesn't
have to have reason to exist, some things just are and always will be and
others aren't and never will be. Think about the inventions. What about them,
how did they come to be, is it possible that we always possessed the
information in our minds but we were unable to obtain it for some odd reason? A
lot of people look for answers where they cannot be found while others don't
look at all and find the answers. Who decides who makes that breakthrough, who
decides who will win that next race, who decides... No one really knows. Some
people claim that god is behind everything while others claim that god does not
even exist. Which do you believe? Which will you follow when the day is done?
Will you trust that there are no coincidences and that god will have a plan for
everyone or that there is such a thing as sheer luck? I wonder about so many
things for which I cannot find the answers. My thirst for knowledge never seams
to be full. But I never know what I want to know either. My mind is always
racing so fast that I can never keep up with it. Sometimes I wonder if my own
inability is holding my self back or if maybe I’m just not as smart as I wish I
were. I hope that someone will read this and have answers. I don’t know what answer
I am looking for but I will know the answer when I find it. Maybe I will never
find it but that will never stop me from looking.
